This document asks for your choice about analytics cookies in the Europe zone. The choice is optional. Rejecting it does not block browsing, registration, or an account. Accept and reject are equal choices. The operator is the one named in the terms of use: legal name — [legal name]; postal address — [postal address]; email — [email]. 1. Cookies that are set without this consent These first-party cookies are strictly necessary to provide the site you asked for, or to store the choice you make here. They are set even if you reject analytics. Rejecting this document does not delete them. — radiolab-session-eu: keeps you signed in. Duration about 14 days. Not readable by page scripts. — radiolab-theme: stores light or dark appearance. About 1 year. — sidebar-collapsed: stores whether the side panel is collapsed. — radiolab-toast: carries a short on-screen notice. About 15 seconds. — visitor-id: an identifier so the cookie choice can be recorded for this browser. About 1 year. Not readable by page scripts. — radiolab-consent-cookies: stores whether you accepted or rejected this document. About 1 year. The legal basis for these cookies, where Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies, is performance of the service you requested or the operator's duty to be able to prove your choice. Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC does not require consent for a cookie that is strictly necessary for a service you explicitly asked for. 2. Analytics, only if you accept If you accept, the operator enables Google Analytics only and may send usage events: pages viewed, approximate region derived from the connection, device and browser type, and product events. Google may set first-party analytics cookies whose names begin with _ga. Their lifetime is up to 24 months. The operator does not enable Yandex Metrika in the Europe zone. Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC act as providers of Google Analytics. Their processing can include a transfer to the United States. There is no European Commission adequacy decision that covers this transfer after the invalidation of the Privacy Shield; the operator relies on your consent for the transfer and on the standard contractual clauses Google offers. You can read Google's description of the processing at Google's privacy pages. The operator does not send your account email or name as an analytics user id. The legal basis is your consent: Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for the personal data, and Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC for storing or reading the analytics cookies. Consent is voluntary. 3. If you reject or have not chosen The operator does not insert the Google Analytics script and does not send analytics events. If analytics cookies remain from an earlier acceptance, the operator deletes them. The cookies in clause 1 stay. 4. Changing your mind You can accept or reject the active cookies document for this zone later in settings. Withdrawal stops further analytics and deletes the analytics cookies. It does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before the withdrawal, and it does not close your account. 5. Rights You may request access, erasure, and the other rights listed in the terms of use, and you may complain to a supervisory authority. Write to the email in the header of this document.
